Browser Maintenance

It's important to clear your device's cache to view additions and updates: Your internet browser's cache stores certain information from the web-pages you visit on your computer or mobile device. This was designed so pages would load more quickly, which is especially helpful with a slow internet connection, such as dialup. Unfortunately, today’s websites like this one are constantly changing their content, so you will not see any of the changes because you are looking at one of the older pages stored on your computer. As well material, margins and spacing may also become distorted; therefore it is extremely important to clear your browser cache on a regular basis.

Website and Browser Interface Information

Most of today's sites are interactive and responsive and this site is no different. Although it works flawlessly in Firefox and Safari, this may not be the case for others, especially some versions of Internet Explorer. It’s important to keep in mind that the various browsers and devices use different rendering engines, therefore there may be problems depending on the particular software. I’ve tried my best to construct the site so it works with most of the browsers; in saying this, if you are using older versions of Internet Explorer I am aware of certain site effects that will not function. Just as an added note, of the individuals who visit this site, approximately 80 percent are using either Firefox or Safari, 15 percent are using Internet Explorer, with the final 5 percent using other browsers such as Google Chrome. It's also important to clear your browser’s cache, as you may not be viewing the latest page updates, rather viewing older pages stored on your computer. You should clear your browser's cache on a regular basis, you may do this through your browser's tools, or you can use an internet eraser such as CCleaner by Piriform. If you are interested in either Firefox or CCleaner, you can download their free software using the links provided. (Note: I have no affiliation with either Firefox or CCleaner; they are products that I've used over the years and have worked well in my experience.)
